Note to Self, Official Chat, Community search, and more
A roundup of account-encrypted notes, the verified Buzzio announcements chat, public Community discovery, hashtags, privacy notices, and bot file support.
Seed-level encryption for Vault and backup
Private Vault and encrypted backup can now use dedicated account keys derived locally from your 12-word phrase, without an extra recovery key.
Buzzio Premium perks, spelled out
Premium is a subscription with a fixed perk list. It is separate from backup, Vault, Rocket Drop, and Whisper Link Packs.
Call relay now uses Cloudflare TURN
When a 1:1 call cannot connect peer-to-peer, encrypted packets can relay through Cloudflare. Cloudflare cannot decrypt the call.
Screen share on 1:1 calls
Share your screen during a voice or video call. Both cameras pause while you share, and only one person can share at a time.
Welcome to Buzzio Updates
A dedicated home for app news, feature launches, and privacy-facing changes — written for people using Buzzio, not for engineers.
Rocket Drop files up to 10 GB
Transfer-plan files now have a hard maximum of 10 GB each. Pack totals stay 100 GB and 400 GB of fuel.
Open-source client reference published
An educational offline client is on GitHub so reviewers can inspect encryption UI and identity stubs. It is not the Play or App Store app.
Unlimited messages for everyone
Daily message caps are gone. Free accounts still have one active create for Whisper, groups, communities, and broadcasts.
Whisper Questions and a bigger help library
Create anonymous ask links from Whisper → Questions. Free links last 24 hours; Link Pack credits last 15 days.
