Screen share on 1:1 calls
Share your screen during a voice or video call. Both cameras pause while you share, and only one person can share at a time.
You can share your screen on a 1:1 voice or video call. While someone is sharing, both cameras pause and both people see only that screen. One share at a time.
How to share
- Start a voice or video call from a 1:1 chat.
- Tap screen share and accept the system prompt.
- Android: press Home to show another app — sharing continues from the call notification.
- iOS: in Start Broadcast, pick Buzzio.
Stop sharing from the call controls when you are done. Cameras can come back after the share ends.
What stays private
Call media still prefers a direct device-to-device path. If a relay is needed, it forwards encrypted packets only — not a recording. Buzzio does not keep a server copy of the call.
The Call tab stores recent calls on your device (about 24 hours).
Help
- Encrypted voice and video calls (Help Center)
- Encrypted calls (Docs)
- If a call will not connect, check status.buzzio.dev first, then Calls fail or Screen share fail.
